PENSIONERS DAY CELEBRATION IN CHENNAI TRAFFIC WING
The Monthly Meeting of Chennai Traffic division was
Celebrated as Pensioners Day meeting on 9/12/17.
Com R Ranganathan District president welcomed all members and chief guests. Com
D Gopalakrishnan, Com V Ramarao .
Com P Satyanarayanan District Secretary briefly narrated his
efforts in bringing a large number of members for this important event of Pensioners
Day. He requested all our comrades to
attend the DEMONSTRATION in support of BSNL employees strike on 12th December
from 10 A M at the C G M Tamil Nadu circle office Greams Road in large number.
Com S Sampath Kumar Vice president indicated the presence
of.Com P S R on 14 &15th Dec for the circle Conference of Chennai Telephone
and requested all to attend on 15th December for the open session from 10 Am
The Treasurer Com N B S Mani gave latest details about life
members of our branch. He proudly announced that the branch has a life
membership of 316 and paid a donation of 1,16,000 to the CHQ.
Com D G elaborated the importance of Nagra judgement and our
association efforts to get pension revision. He also spoke about the DOT pensioners and our
efforts in the recent periods for the latest order. Com Rao expressed his
appreciation for the branch and requested the members to attend on all
activities of the association, thanking
the branch, he further explained the
importance of the association in achieving pensioners problems. The Central Working
Committee meeting at Patna and the ensuing AIC at Puri and the Circle Executive
Committee meeting in Karaikudi and the ensuing
Circle Conference at Tiruchirapalli. Today more than 100 comrades attended the
meeting.
The meeting concluded
with a vote of thanks by Com Kalidoss.
