AIBSNLPWA TN CIRCLE

 On 14th October 2017 AIBSNLPWA District Branch Thanjavur conducted the monthly General Body Meeting at the Maris Corner Main Telephone Exchange Complex exactly by 11:00 hrs. The meeting was presided over by com A. K. Dhanabalan District president, and the events were conducted by Com V. Swaminathan  Dist. Secy. After prayer com. K. Ayyanar, Joint Secy welcomed the gathering and read out the last GB's report and was  approved by the GB. One Tirukkural was recited out and explained by the Dist President.. Com K. Santhanagopalan Vice President  spoke elaborately about IDA, MRS payment position, 3^rd PRC status for serving employees of BSNL, present condition of one increment case, Pension Revision with respect to 7^th  Pay Commission, the extrardinary social services  done by the district branch, CHQ and the Circle level matters at present, Tamil Nadu state govt. 7^th Pay Commission's approval and it's effect in detail and pleaded for the donations for our union without fail in order to carry out the targeted programs in detail. Com M. Irudhayaraj, Gave the grievance day reports when he had met PGMT BSNL  Thanjavur this month in detail. District secretary gave  brief report about the social activities conducted and thanked the members’ cooperation in this regard.

As usual Mani Vizha for the last month retiree  com. Srinivasan of Tiruvarur and birthday celebrations of all coms birthday falling this month in a grand manner by cake cutting amidst thunderous  applause. Quite naturally it was a heart melting event.   Vote Of Thanks was given by. Com. T. Ganesan and the meeting came to an end with sharing of delicious midday lunch with Thanjavur ethnic Flavour .
